Final Task: Planning Storyboard

     This is the Storyboard of the movie FANTASIA CAN DO IT! This story board is created by Glenna Mae Tomboc, who is working with Perlinda Caceres and Nikaliyah Barnett. The storyboard contains a total of ten handwritten pages with pictures and text, printed on a template given by our instructor. 

     In the beginning part of the movie it shows the reality of a family that seems to be perfect but is not. This action is symbolized by a glass picture fame with the mother and daughter shattering. Some key points that are illustrated in this storyboard are the transition from a doll to a live action unicorn. The process of the unicorn hiding, the pan angle capturing a time lapse. Another key factor in this story board is page 7 when they make up and talk about their feelings.  The unicorns mission to go see the little girl in the car, the kidnapping done by the the character "candy kidnapper" played  by Nikaliyah Barnett. The luring aspect of the the kidnaping is candy and a prop of "Hyunjin" from Stray Kids. These are the opening events that eventually lead out to the opening scene.

    The planning of this movie was done and executed through messages and voice/video chat on Discord. We have serval medias of  us posing for pictures to use in our blogs. Since our group member Glenna made the storyboard, she explained it over video. Discord is very useful tool for us to communicate through. We have group chats and channels to have due dates and everything set for productive and active in this class.

 For our Title blog, Glenna will be making the titles for our movie. She will be using her own font that she created that is from her own handwriting. For the movie title name, she will handwrite that in calligraphy.      The font will be in what she named "JuvinMae" which is the font displayed below.     The contract won't be too low. We plan to make the text white so that it is able to be seen on the screen. We do not plan to lower the opacity or make it anything other than white.     The spacing and the tracking between lines are normal-sized, in our opinion.  The movie I've chosen for this blog is Pokemon Detective Pikachu. I've chosen it from the Art of the Title website.  Titles displayed during this sequence were all the names of the movie's producers. Roles that developed this movie included the director, creator of the story, producers, executive producers, director of photography, production designer, film editors, music producers, and so much more. The names of the Pokemon characters were displayed as well, except that the names are displayed in the Japanese language. Prioritized images would include the Pokemon characters, the design, the movie logo, etc. These images represent the most popular characters of the Pokemon universe. Although I haven't watched the movie, I feel as if these shown characters are the ones that are going to be shown more in the movie. PRODUCTION BLOG: UPDATING OUR PLANS

     Hello,  this is our 2nd blog since we have come back from spring break and nothing much has changed. Me and Glenna have been working out what we are going to do in terms of filming because Perla still has covid.       We still need to film and finish the assignment even with this obstacle. We have changed almost everything because of functionality. We were going to film at Perla's house but now it is being changed to mine. The original problem about filming at my house, is that we just moved in and it's a construction zone. Glenna and my mom said that it will do for now since its our only option. We found some places( a school and park) that is closer to my house so that everything is in the vicinity of my house. We are planning to do a two day filming system and fit as many scenes in as we can. Working on finding extras for our film is a lot more difficult than I anticipated.
