Starting the Final Task
Hello my name is Nikaliyah Barnett and I am a sophomore attending Fort Lauderdale HighSchool. My partners in this project are Glenna Mae Tomboc and Perla Caceres. AICE Media studies is a class that takes a lot of my focus and sometimes not as enjoyable as I would like it to be. However, when we go through the steps and have a final product it makes it all worth while.
Many blogs of ours might be the same or somewhat similar because we are doing this collectively. I chose to work with my partners because we have all collaborated before. I am friends with both of them personally so I am ecstatic that I am able to work with them. Glenna has a great artist vision and is very involved with different concepts, along with her will to make things go on the right path. Perla is great at visualizing and has a wonderful understanding and grasp of the media terms. I also contribute to them team with my organizational and planning skills. With all of us having specific skills that we can all contribute, our project will be amazing. We first started off with the brainstorming of all our ideas and made our thoughts heard to each other. We do not want to neglect any great ideas.
When this assignment was first given out, I did not initially think of me being in a group but when my friends reached out to me I thought this was an opportunity. I, like most people procrastinate a lot, so my group can hold me accountable and I can do the same as well. We have worked on our music video project together and we were all pleased with the results. Knowing that we have done the necessary steps of a project before is a huge help. We have a group chat to communicate with and we have all of our due dates posted in a server so that we are on task and do not forget. We video chat often so we can see each other ( cannot meet as easily with covid) and talk about our plans. As a group our individual strengths can be put together.
